What happens if my account was reported spamming?

Let's first clarify what is spam and what is not spam...

If you send a members mailing out from within ViralURL, it's never considered spam.  Just make sure you don't use a misleading email subject or copy and follow the guidelines on the mailer page.

Sending emails including ViralURL links to a purchased or harvested list of leads where the receivers have not given consent to receive your emails is considered spam.

Basically, if the email receiver did take an action to get on your mailing list, you are fine... but if you email them without them subscribing to you, signing up for your site or affiliate program, even if you reverse advertise to them, your email to them will be considered spam.

If we have received a complaint against your ViralURL account for spamming, we will temporarily suspend your account.

However, if you can attest to the fact that you have not in any way spammed or allowed your account to be utilized for spamming, then we may consider lifting the suspension with a commitment on your part to never do the same or similar offense ever again.

Otherwise, a second offense will mean a graver penalty. We do not condone spamming nor do we allow any of our products to be used for such.
